Johnson County to Host Clinics for Residents to Apply for Financial Aid

(Johnson County, Iowa) -- Two clinics are scheduled to help eligible Johnson County residents apply for a new financial assistance program.

The first will be held on Thursday, March 5th at the Johnson County Health and Human Services Building located at 855 S. Dubuque Street. The second clinic will be held on Friday, March 13th at the same location. Both clinics will start at 6pm.

The Direct Assistance Program will distribute $3.5 million dollars to residents through $1,400 direct payments. Qualifications include residents making low to moderate income and proving their finances were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
