Omaha Police say they picked up an inmate, who was missing for a short time from the Community Corrections Center - Omaha.
They say officers found 33-year old Jonathan Walker-Hernandez walking along South 24th Street after he was accused of leaving his job Tuesday afternoon and not returning to the facility as scheduled.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says Walker-Hernandez started his sentence in June of last year.
He was sentenced to two to three years out of Douglas County for possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
He has a parole eligibility date of June 6th and a tentative release date of December 6th.
