(Des Moines, Iowa) -- The Animal Rescue League of Iowa says its most recent rescues aren't quite ready to adoption.
Several of the recent rescues are from a recently discovered puppy mill in Hedrick, Iowa. The ARL says the dogs are gaining weight and some have been moved to foster families.
