(Waukee, IA) -- A Waukee man is charged with attempted murder, accused of beating and Tasing his girlfriend. Police say Brian Boock barricaded himself and his girlfriend inside a home in the 500 block of Spring Crest Lane late Tuesday night where he was attacking her. Police say they broke into the house but Boock ran to the bathroom, grabbed a knife, cut his throat, and barricaded the door. Police say they eventually got him to surrender and he was arrested.
