Omaha Police Investigate Robbery Incidents

Omaha Police look into an early Wednesday morning robbery and attempted robbery close to each other in time and distance.

Officers went to the "Casey's" at 137th and Q Streets around 2:30 a.m., and an employee told them a white male entered the business, claimed to have a gun, and demanded money.

The suspect left without taking any cash.

Minutes later, officers responded to a robbery call at the "Kum and Go," at 143rd and Q Streets.

An employee told police a white male, who said he had a gun, demanded money and took cash from the place, leaving in a white GMC truck.

Officers went to the registered address of the truck and made contact with residents there, but did not locate the suspect.
