(Galesburg, Illinois) -- No injuries are reported after a gunfire incident Thursday, according to the Galesburg Police Department.
Police say they received reports of gunfire and a vehicle crashing into a tree in the 1100 block of East North Street around 6:15 Thursday evening. Police say officers found multiple shell casings in the area and found that a home had been hit by gunfire. Investigators say the vehicle was empty and several more shell casings were found nearby. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
