(Undated) -- Avian bird flu quarantines are over for three poultry sites in Iowa. The Iowa Department Agriculture says a commercial hen site in Franklin County, a turkey site in Hamilton County, and a chicken breeding site in Humboldt County, can now move poultry and products on and off the sites. Sites are lifted from quarantine after they fulfill requirements to clean, disinfect and show negative test for the virus on the premises. A total of twenty-nine states have reported cases of the bird flu but Iowa is the most affected with over thirteen million birds lost to the virus. Fourteen Iowa counties have reported cases of the bird flu since the beginning of this year.
