Council Bluffs Hires Goats To Clear Landscaping Around The City

(Council Bluffs, IA) -- Council Bluffs has new workers to help clean up the city's landscaping. A herd of 55 goats. The Omaha World Herald reports the goats started working last week clearing four acres of land under Interstate-480 along the Missouri River. They're expected to be on the job until early next month. Experts say goats can eat up to four pounds of hay and vegetation in a day.
