The investigation starts up into a fire late Sunday night.
Investigators say the fire engulfed a home near 33rd and Ohio Streets around 11 p.m.
As they rushed to the scene, firefighters reported smoke and fire were seen from several blocks away, and a defensive attack was made on the burning single family residential structure, meaning firefighters were not trying to go inside.
They brought the fire under control in about 20 minutes.
The Fire Department says no one was inside, and no injuries were reported.
