Ames' Duff Rail Crossing Closed Friday, May 27th

(Ames, IA) -- The City of Ames is announcing a temporary closure of the Duff Avenue railroad crossing from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 27, for emergency rail repairs by Union Pacific Railroad.

 

There will be no access across the Duff Avenue tracks, and the sidewalks will be closed. Motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians should detour to other railroad crossings including Kellogg, Clark, and Grand avenues.
