(Iowa) -- Next month will be officially recognized as Iowa Craft Brew Month.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds signed a proclamation declaring June of this year a month to recognize the brewing industry's contributions to the state, according to the Iowa Brewers Association. The state's brewing industry has doubled since 2014 and received national recognition for quality at the Great American Beer Festival and the World Beer Cup.
The Iowa Craft Brew Festival will take place June 4th in Des Moines.
