After the beneficial rains of this week, the National Weather Service in Omaha expects the sun to shine Thursday afternoon with a high into the 60's.
And the sunshine is expected to continue through the Memorial Day Holiday weekend, that unofficial start of the American Summer travel and vacation season and a time to pause and remember, with highs in the upper 70's Friday;
mid 80's on Saturday, with a push into the 90's on Sunday and Memorial Day;
