After Cold Front, Weather For Shortened Work Week Looks Good

The Omaha office of the National Weather Service says a frontal passage that created the lightning-filled thunderheads in the southeast sky Monday evening will lead to cooler temperatures for the week.

A few showers and storms will be possible Wednesday, otherwise dry conditions will prevail through Friday, when rain chances return.

The gusty winds remain for today and tonight;
