(Industry, Illinois) -- The National Weather Service is confirming an EF-1 tornado in McDonough County, Illinois on May 13st.
The NWS says the tornado was on the ground for 1.6 miles for four minutes a little after 10:30pm about 3.7 miles northwest of Industry. The tornado produced an estimated maximum wind speed of 110 miles per hour and caused damage to several buildings and powerlines throughout the area.
