(Iowa City, Iowa) -- Alcohol sales at University of Iowa sporting events are bringing in millions of dollars.
The University of Iowa Athletics Department brought in $3 million dollars during the last school year, according to a new report. 80% of alcohol sales were from football games at Kinnick Stadium, with men's basketball games bringing in the second highest number of sales.
This past school year was the first year fans could purchase alcohol at Hawkeye sporting events.
