(Davenport, IA) -- A new food production plant is coming to Davenport. Leaders in the Quad Cities along with representatives from Fair Oaks Foods say a $134-million, 150,000 square-foot facility will be built just north of Interstate-80 and Northwest Boulevard. The facility is expected to bring in 247 new jobs and have an economic impact of $182-million a year. Construction is scheduled to start this summer.
