Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds Announces Federal Funding For School Safety

(Undated) -- The State of Iowa is set to spend $100-million in federal money on helping prevent school shootings. Governor Kim Reynolds announced today the money will be used to hire more safety staff, help better report threats, conduct active shooter training, and conduct school vulnerability assessments. Reynolds says the move is in response to increased violence seen every day.
