(Omaha, NE) -- After over a year of being closed, 168th Street reopens to traffic.
On Wednesday, 168th Street between Pacific and West Center one lane in each direction reopened. Construction on 168th in that area first started in April 2021 as work began to widen the road and fix drainage issues. The City of Omaha is still urging drivers to use caution in the area since that 168th remains under construction.
Work on that stretch of road, and side streets, will continue through the summer.
