(Iowa) -- Gas prices are down in Iowa to start the week.
GasBuddy.com says a survey of over 2,000 Iowa gas stations shows the average price for regular in Iowa is down about 3 cents since last week. The average price for regular in Iowa is $4.71 a gallon. That's still 54 cents higher than this time last month and $1.86 higher than this time last year. According to Gas Buddy, the cheapest gas in Iowa is $4.32 a gallon in Underwood, Iowa.
Nationally, the average price for regular has fallen about 4 cents since last week to an average price of $4.97 a gallon.
