(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Thousands gathered across Iowa to protest the U.S. Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
A protest in Des Moines, Friday drew a crowd of more than a thousand people near the Des Moines Public Schools' Central Campus.

Witnesses at a rally in Cedar Rapids Friday say a truck ran over a woman's foot during a peaceful pro-choice protest.
Cedar Rapids Police say a verbal confrontation began between the protestors and a driver before contact was made between the pickup and one of the pedestrians, according to a report by KGAN-TV Iowa's News Now. Video shows protesters running after and flanking the truck after it pushed through a group of pedestrians crossing the street.
Cedar Rapids City Council member for District 5 Ashley Vanorney posted video on Twitter of the pickup as it drove through the protest. She Tweets that "...the truck was pushing and knocking people over after initially plowing into the people at the intersection at 2nd street."
