(Pocahontas Co., IA) -- Dozens of cats are safe after having been rescued from a home in in northwest Iowa.
The Animal Rescue League says 30 cats without food and water were rescued from a home in Pocahontas County earlier this week. The ARL says the home was filthy and many of the cats were thin, had ear mites, ear infections, and fleas. The case is being investigated by the Pocahontas County Sheriff's Office. So far no arrests have been made.
