(Belmond, IA) -- Governor Kim Reynolds says she does not plan to call lawmakers back to Des Moines for a special session on abortion, after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last week.

In Belmond Wednesday, Reynolds says wants to have two state laws unblocked using the court system. She wants a re-hearing on a 2018 law banning abortion once a heartbeat is detected, and a 2020 law creating a 24-hour waiting period for abortions.
