(Iowa) -- A new report says the future of the planned "Field of Dreams" miniseries is uncertain.
Variety reports NBC's Peacock streaming service has dropped the planed series. The series was scheduled to begin filming later this year in several Iowa counties, including Polk, Mahaska, Clinton, and Boone. Earlier this week, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced a $6,000,000 grant for the series through the Destination Iowa Program, funded by the federal American Rescue Plan Act.
Universal Television is looking for another outlet for the series.
