Flags to Fly at Half-Staff in Iowa to Honor Illinois Shooting Victims

(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is ordering all flags in the state fly at half-staff to honor the victims of the Highland Park shooting.

The order follows President Biden's proclamation to lower all flags across the country following the shooting. Flags are ordered to stay at half-staff through sunset on Saturday, July 9th.

The suspect in the shooting is in custody and is due in court today, charged with 7 counts of first degree murder.
