Fireworks At Nebraska GOP Convention

The Nebraska Republican Party moves forward after a contentious state convention in Kearney over the weekend.

The "Nebraska Examiner" reports 10 party leadership members resigned following the Chairman of the Nebraska Republican Party Dan Welch being voted out by delegates.

Nebraska GOP Executive Director Taylor Gage confirms he is among those who resigned.

Welch was voted out after giving a speech encouraging unity.

Delegates elected the Lancaster County Republican Chairman Eric Underwood to replace Welch, giving Underwood 195 votes.
