(Johnston, IA) -- Traffic delays should be expected at the Johnston Drive-Merle Hay Road intersection Thursday, July 14th due to construction.
Construction crews will be removing the intersection's traffic signals from 9 a.m. to noon. During that time period, Johnston Public Works says traffic will be completely stopped in all directions for up to 10 minutes for the crews to take down the traffic signals. A four-way stop will be replacing the lights.
Electronic boards will be placed ahead of the Thursday morning delays to alert motorists.
