(Rock Island, IL) -- A Galesburg father and son are headed to federal prison for possession of methamphetamine.
53 year-old Gilbert Bicknell was sentenced to 13 years in prison, and his son, Michael Bicknell was sentenced to 14 years in prison. There is no option for parole in the federal system. Both pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute last year.
Both are sentenced to five years supervised release after their prison sentences are completed.
