Gas Prices in Iowa Continue to Fall

(Undated) -- Gas prices in Iowa are continuing to fall in Iowa after seeing record highs.

The average gasoline prices in Iowa have dropped 15.2 cents per gallon in the last week.

According to GasBuddy’s survey of stations in Iowa, gas is averaging $4.33 per gallon as of today.

The prices in Iowa are now almost 40 cents lower than a month ago, but still $1.35 higher than a year ago.

The cheapest gas in Iowa was $3.60 yesterday and the most expensive was $5.27.

Nationally, the average price of gasoline has fallen 15.8 cents per gallon since last week, making the average $4.51 as of today which is about 48 cents per gallon lower from a month ago and $1.35 higher from a year ago.

The national average price for diesel has gone down 10.8 cents since last week making the average $5.54 per gallon.
