(Rock Island, IL) -- One person is hurt after a shooting at a Rock Island apartment complex Monday.
Rock Island Police say officers responded to reports of the shooting around 11:15pm at the Heather Ridge Apartments at 9500 14th Street West. Police say officers found a victim at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. The 24 year-old victim was taken to an area hospital and is reportedly in serious but stable condition. So far no arrests have been made, and the investigation is continuing.
