Police say actor and Norwalk, Iowa native Jason Momoa was involved in a head-on crash with a motorcycle near Los Angeles over the weekend.
The "Aquaman" star was driving along Old Topanga Road in Topanga Sunday morning around 10:55 a.m. when, according to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Vitaliy Avagimyan of Tarzana crossed the center line and slammed into Momoa's 1970 Oldsmobile.
Avagimyan was ejected from his bike. He was later transported to Northridge Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The 42-year-old actor was not injured in the collision and remained at the scene of the crash. The collision remains under investigation.
Momoa got out to help the man and flagged down a passing driver to call 911. No charges have been filed and the motorcycle rider is expected to recover.
Momoa has had roles in such movies as "Conan the Barbarian," "Justice League," "Aquaman" and "Dune."
