(North Liberty, IA) -- The Iowa Board of Regents approves a $138-million budget increase for the new University of Iowa hospital in North Liberty. The Board of Regents says the hospital's now expected to cost more than $500-million. University of Iowa leaders say the budget went up because of inflation and problems finding workers. Construction started earlier this year and the hospital's expected to open in 2025.
