(Iowa) -- The average gas price in Iowa is now below $4 dollars a gallon.
Iowa's statewide average price for regular is now $3.93 a gallon, one of 15 states with an average price under $4 dollars a gallon. That's down almost 70 cents from this time last month, according to Triple-A, but it's still 93 cents higher than this time last year.
The average price for regular in Polk County is almost 20 cents below the statewide average at $3.74 a gallon. In Cedar Rapids, he average price for regular is also below the statewide average at $3.84 a gallon, while the average price in Iowa City is $4.08 a gallon.
The average price for regular in the Quad Cities area is under the statewide average at $3.80 a gallon, but the average price in Dubuque is above the statewide average at $4.06.
