We have had a break from the extreme heat today after a cold front came through Sunday night bringing cooler temperatures and overnight thunderstorms.
The Omaha office of the National Weather Service says temperatures will start to climb as we move through the week topping out mainly in the 80's and 90's this week.
They say chances of more precipitation are pretty low.
