(Dyersville, IA) -- Major League Baseball reveals more information about the Field of Dreams Game Thursday.
Chicago Cubs All-Star Outfielder Ian Happ and Cincinnati Reds 6-time All-Star First Baseman Joey Votto will both be mic'd up, set to join the Fox Sports broadcast. The MLB also released Monday, August 8th, that the teams will be playing in throwback uniforms for the game.
The Cubs-Reds game will be the finale of a series of baseball festivities at the Field of Dreams this week, as the MiLB and RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) will play on the diamond. The Cedar Rapids Kernels and the Quad Cities River Bandits play at the Field of Dreams Tuesday, August 9th at 6:30 pm. The Cubs and Reds RBI's will play on Wednesday.
