Nebraska State Patrol troopers arrest two people after finding more than 100 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 80.
Wednesday afternoon, a trooper saw a Nissan Maxima fail to signal on I-80 near Giltner.
During the traffic stop, a Patrol K-9 swung into action, detecting the presence of a controlled substance inside the vehicle.
Investigators say a search turned up 100 pounds of marijuana.
The State Patrol says the driver, 27-year old Chao Lee, and a passenger, 30-year old Kou Yang, both of Madison, Wisconsin, were arrested for possession of marijuana – more than a pound, delivery of a controlled substance, and no drug tax stamp.
They were taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
