(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines and area suburbs are busy trying to arrange crossing guards for the upcoming school year. ACMS is hosting a job fair Monday, August 15th at the Southside Library (1111 SW Porter), at 10:30 a.m.
There will also be a hiring event at the Urbandale Library (3520 86th Street) Monday, August 15th at 1:30 p.m. Ankeny's Kirkendall Library (1250 SW District Dr.) will host a crossing guard hiring event Tuesday, August 16th at 2:30 p.m.
Starting pay is $16 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.
