Troopers Find Over 250 Pounds of Cocaine in I-80 Traffic Stop

(Hershey, NE) -- A New York man is arrested in Nebraska after hundreds of pounds of cocaine are found in his vehicle.

The Nebraska State Patrol says around 11:45 last Thursday morning, a trooper spotted a Mitsubishi Outlander driving with a license plate violation on eastbound I-80 near Hershey, Nebraska. After pulling the vehicle over, the trooper deployed a K-9 unit, which detected the smell of a controlled substance inside the vehicle.

The state patrol says during a search of the vehicle, 258 pounds of cocaine were found. The driver, 31 year old Steven Windoloski, of Massena, New York, was arrested for possession of cocaine – more than 140 grams, possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, and no drug tax stamp.
