(Muscatine Co, IA) -- Muscatine County deputies are investigating a possible murder after getting a tip from another police department in Flordia.
According to a news release, dispatchers received a call from Flordia’s North Palm Beach Police Department claiming they were tipped off to a possible murder at a home in rural Muscatine County.
Muscatine County Deputies executed a welfare check Monday where they found a woman dead in the home.
Flordia police said the suspect had returned to their area and was found dead in a house from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in North Palm Beach.
The investigation is being conducted between both agencies and is ongoing.
