(Marshalltown, IA) -- A Tama man is charged with 2nd Degree Arson, in connection with a house fire in Marshalltown. Police say 36-year-old Jhesie Hill is accused of setting a fire at a home at 5 East Webster Street. Police say there was no one home at the time of the fire and it appeared that the homeowners were not living in the residence. The home sustained a significant amount of fire and smoke damage. While conducting an extensive investigation into the origin and cause of the fire, fire and police personnel determined that the fire was intentionally set.
