UPDATE: New Information in Omaha Shooting Investigations

Omaha Police say a shooting injured one person at 24th and Ellison Avenue early today.

Officers found 37-year old Elmas Williams with gunshot wounds.

Omaha Fire Department paramedics took Williams to a hospital with life threatening injuries.

Police are also investigating a shooting that injured two people near 56th and Ames Avenue early today.

Officers arriving on the scene after 9-1-1 communications received numerous reports of gunshots being fired found 30-year old Marquez Booth with gunshot wounds.

He was also hospitalized.

About an hour later another person showed up at a hospital;

Investigators say 32-year old Cotila Sutton told officers she was a passenger in a vehicle and was struck by gunfire while driving near 56th and Ames.

Four vehicles and a business were damaged by gunfire in that incident.
