(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Eastern Iowa families looking to adopt a cat can go to the Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control for a "Back to School" special.
Starting August 22nd, running through September 3rd, families can adopt a cat for 25 dollars, which includes spaying/neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, and a microchip. The shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 12 pm to 5 pm. Its located at 7241 Washington View Parkway SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
