(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Leaders with the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers, and Grain Millers' International Union will meet with food company Ingredion next week to discuss a new labor contract for Cedar Rapids workers that are on strike. The strike has been going on for nearly a week and a half as union workers have called for higher wages, better health coverage, and fewer long shifts. The strike affects about 120 workers and is the first at Ingredion since 2004.
