The Douglas County Election Commission is hiring temporary customer service employees to assist voters with in-person early voting at its office as the November General Election approaches.
The pay is $16 per hour.
While most positions are full-time, some part-time positions, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., are available.
Hours of work are generally 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with a few evenings and weekends.
The work begins September 20th and lasts 8 weeks.
Applicants must have a high school diploma and be registered voters or be eligible to register to vote.
They must type 40 words per minute, have customer service and computer experience, possess strong attention to detail, and be able to pass a drug test and criminal records check.
All positions are at the Douglas County Election Commission located at 12220 West Center Road at the northwest corner of 120th St. and W Center in Bel Air Plaza.
