(Davenport, IA) -- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is searching for the owner of a dog that was abandoned in Davenport.
The DNR says an officer noticed the dog in a kennel near Concord St. and Wapello Avenue on August 21st. The dog was wrapped in a shower curtain, and the DNR has not determined how long the dog had been left in the kennel. The dog had died by the time it was found.
