(Palo, IA) -- The public hearing on the proposed Duane Arnold Solar Panel Project in Palo is rescheduled for Monday, August 29th.
The meeting was supposed to happen Monday of this week, but the meeting was canceled over lack of communication with the public. State law requires a minimum of four days notice before such a meeting in the local paper of record, in this case the Cedar Rapids Gazette. The Gazette published an article about the meeting three days before the meeting, leading to its cancellation. The meeting will now take place at 6pm on August 29th at the Palo Community Center.
