(Davenport, IA) -- The Davenport Fire Department says three people are in custody in connection to a suspected arson case in late July.
DFD says firefighters responded reports of the fire at a home around 5:30 on the morning of July 20th. Investigators say an incendiary device was found at the scene and had been thrown through a window. DFD says no one was hurt in the fire. On Thursday, 31 year-old Spenser Barton and two juveniles were taken into custody after an investigation led authorities to believe the three had started the fire.
A further investigation is ongoing.
