(Des Moines, IA) -- Gas prices across Iowa are continuing to drop. According to GasBuddy’s survey of gas stations in Iowa, the average price for regular unleaded dropped another nine cents in the last week making the state average $3.43 a gallon.
Gas prices in Iowa are 25 cents lower than a month ago, but still 45 cents higher than this time last year.
The national price for regular unleaded gas has fallen more than seven cents in the last week averaging $3.75 a gallon.
