(Des Moines, IA) -- Two people are under arrest in connection with Des Moines' 13th homicide of the year.
Des Moines Police say 22 year-old Malik Henderson and 24 year-old Kha Len Richard Price Williams are facing multiple charges in the fatal shooting. Police say evidence indicates the victim, a 23 year-old female, was in a vehicle with the two men and a fourth person on September 5th, when Henderson fired a gun, hitting the victim.
She was dropped off at an area hospital and later died of the gunshot wound. Henderson being charged with her murder. Price Williams is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana.
The investigation is ongoing.
