(Des Moines, IA) -- September is National Voter Registration Month, and Iowa Secretary of state Paul Pate is encouraging voters to check their registration status for the November election.
Pate says Iowans can register online, through the mail, at government agency offices, and even at the polls before casting a ballot.
Iowa is consistently one of the top ten states for voter registration and participation.
September 20th is National Voter Registration Day.
