The Omaha Fire Department will observe this upcoming Sunday September 11th as a remembrance and memorial to those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on the United States now 21 years ago.
Firefighters will take part in a minute- long moment of silence on September 11th beginning at 9:11 a.m.
They welcome the public to their local Omaha Fire Station to take part in the moment of silence.
Every Omaha Fire Station will have its fire rigs pulled out onto the apron and have their emergency lights activated dring the memorial on Sunday morning.
